We have an exciting opportunity available for a Human Resources Associate Manager to partner with our team at the Raleigh, NC Amino Acid production facility. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly establish credibility and trust with the local management team and employees serving as the on-site, go-to HR resource. Key focus areas are employee relations, engagement, compliance, talent management and development.

Job Responsibilities:

-Provide HR support to site employees, managers, and supervisors, while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, local employment laws and regulations. Supports Director, HR in all aspects of HR for the site.

-Work with HR Director to implement HR strategies focused on increasing employee engagement and retention rate.

-Coordinate compensation planning, compensation administration, and performance review process.

-Oversee actions and approvals required for changes in employment and job status.

-Provide full-cycle recruiting to help attract diverse talent and build bench strength. 

-Provide site assessment and align human capital development need with business objectives. Identifies training and development needs to support succession planning.

-Guides interpretation of HR policies and procedures and related activities. Assists with investigations related to HR compliance issues, and other employee relations matters.

Position Requirements


1)     BA degree in HR, Business or related field.

2)     Minimum 4 years’ experience in a lead HR role for a manufacturing facility.

3)     Ability to work independently.

4)     Strong understanding and knowledge of HR theories, practices, and employment laws.

5)     Experience exercising extreme discretion with sensitive and confidential information.

6)     Excellent oral and written communications skills and analytical skills.

7)     Outlook and Excel skills required. Familiarity with Ultimate (Ultipro) HRIS a plus.
